When the BMW M535i came and went, it was easy to call it a loss. Only a little more than a thousand units of this car were produced despite the car’s perfect mix of performance and functionality. Sounds like a disappointment, but in reality BMW was making way for a proper M5: completely inspired by the M535i. We may love the M5 but it’s the predecessor that steals the show:
