Taking Custom to the Next Level: The 1951 Kaiser Drag’n

k-bigpic

Designed and built by Keith Charvonia, this 1951 Kaiser is one of a kind. Destined for the scrapyard, Charvonia saved the Kaiser for a mere $150. His first move was to solidify the car, integrating flooring and rockers. Along the lines of his vision, Charvonia transformed the Kaiser from a four door to a two door and chopped 6 inches from the top. Though Kaiser isn’t a make you hear so often, this Drag’n is complete with a number of Kaiser parts like handles, glass and mirrors. Countless hours were spent taking this car from rusted relic to a piece of art and Jay Leno took notice. On this episode, join Jay and Keith in the Kaiser Drag’n. Enjoy.
