Test Drive: Cadillac ATS-V
Who doesn’t love a good joy ride? Enter the Cadillac ATS-V. This ride is built on GM’s lightweight, rear-drive Alpha platform (which Cadillac shares withe the Chevrolet Camaro). The ATS-V is powered by a 3.6-liter, twin-turbo V-6 that churns out 464 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque. We have a feeling that a V-8 would fit under the hood, but we’ll try to keep that one to ourselves. This might be last years model, but we still love it. Buyers have the choice of a six-speed manual or a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic.
/DRIVE gives us the inside scoop and takes the car for a test ride. Check out the video below and see what one of America’s best marque’s is all about. Enjoy.

It is a proud day for America when a Cadillac is available with three pedals (6 speed manual tranny), while Mercedes only sells high tech slush boxes for the US market. Scratch one up for Detroit.
