The 797-HP Dodge Durango Police SUV “Speed Trap”

Let’s just say, we wouldn’t want to be in a car chase with this police SUV on our tail. Dodge revealed its latest Durango SRT Pursuit concept that packs 797-horsepower thanks to a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 borrowed from a Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. Last year, Dodge took home its title in the Truck/SUV class with the standard Durango SRT that has a 6.4-liter V-8 producing 475-hp. So we can assume that the goal of this concept is to defend that title.

The concept nicknamed “Speed Trap” will of course feature the new engine, but will have other upgrades as well. Of note is a high-flow cat-back exhaust, a 0.6-inch lowered ride height, 20-inch wheels with 305/35-size Pirelli P Zero tires, and a Brembo brake package with 15.75-inch Brembo 2-piece vented rotors with 6-piston callipers up  front and 13.78-inch vented rotors with 4-piston calipers at the rear.
