Hennessey Performance Engineering has a long standing reputation of taking insane cars and somehow making them even crazier. And that holds true with the work they did on the iconic Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. The company created the HPE1000 package, which helps the Demon produce a staggering 880 horsepower at the rear wheels and 1,035-hp at the crank.

You’ve probably already seen the HPE1000 Demon fly down the drag strip, so that’s not what this video today is about. The video we have for your viewing pleasure is more focused on how the car does under more civil driving. Just to review, the biggest upgrades included in the package are the 4.5-liter supercharger, a new throttle body, headers, fuel injectors, and an HPE calibration to make sure everything works harmoniously.
