1963 Ford Falcon vs. Pike’s Peak

Aaron Kaufman of Gas Monkey Garage has begun preparation for this year’s Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. The costar of Discovery Channel’s Fast n’ Loud will take his 1963 Ford Falcon (hopefully) all the way up Pike’s Peak in just a few months. Kaufman’s car (shown above) has a 363ci Boss small-block Ford engine producing 500hp but Gas Monkey Garage plans to take things to the next level. The team will add a blower and fuel injection to give the Falcon the strength it needs to “race to the clouds.” This car is equipped with Ride Tech adjustable suspension, 18-inch Forgeline wheels wrapped with Toyo R888s and a Wilwood braking system. The race begins June 24^th and this Ford Falcon is the ride to root for.
