In Torque We Trust – Plymouth Barracuda Formula S
This is Bob Gough’s 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S. He’s upgraded it little by little since its purchase twenty-three years ago. Bob has replaced the transmission with a Tremec 5-speed and now runs a 340 cubic inch V8 as opposed to the original 273 ci engine. The original 14” wheels are now custom 15” steelies. This car handles surprisingly well thanks to its upgraded nitrogen shock suspension. Once the curves straighten out, the Barruca’s torque kicks-in. Owner Bob Gough says its “fast enough to be a fun car to drive.”
