The First 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom Just Sold for $800,000

Rolls-Royce. The absolute pinnacle of luxury vehicles. The all-new 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom was revealed last year in London, and certainly made a good impression. Although this is the eighth-generation Phantom, it isn’t drastically different than its predecessor. However, it rides on the automaker’s new aluminum spaceframe branded the “Architecture of Luxury.”

The first 2018 Phantom was sold at the Naples Winter Wine Auction to Jon Mason and his wife Bonnie from Dover Ohio. The winning bid? A hefty $780,000. As a bonus, the Phantom includes wines form the Alpha Omega winery as well as an invitation to be a judge in the 2019 ROBB Report Car of the Year Event. Check out this sweet new ride the Mason’s just got their hands on, right here.

This is not a car, it is a statement. The more you pay the louder the statement. My sympathy to the purchaser that they were not able to bid it up to a cool million. Then the neighbors might have deigned to notice.
