Tesla CEO Hints At Ultra-Fast Superchargers

Tesla electric vehicles charge pretty fast to begin with. But, if you’ve ever wished yours would charge even faster, you’re about to be in luck. Tesla CEO Elon Must took to Twitter over the holiday to tease a new Supercharger V3, which will have charging capabilities far beyond what is currently available in the EV space. Current Superchargers max out at 150 kW, while the updated models will be able to do at least twice that.

There’s no way to predict how short a time it will take an EV to fill up at, say, 500 kW Supercharger, but we’re thinking Tesla won’t have to worry about crowded Superchargers at all.
