The Jaguar E-Type, Masterfully Reborn

“The Jaguar E-Type”. Those words alone are enough to send a tingle up your spine and make you consider taking a second mortgage on your home to acquire one. Released in 1961, the Jaguar XKE (commonly referred to as the “E-Type”) came roaring onto British roadways with category-defining speed and style. Often topping modern lists of the world’s most beautiful cars, the E-Type’s classic design was once referred to by Enzo Ferrari as “the most beautiful car ever made”. Driven by the likes of Steve McQueen and Frank Sinatra the E-Type quickly cemented itself into history as a true classic.

Fast forward more than 50 years since the original release and market demand for classic E-Types is higher than ever, and yes you can get them. But what if you want something more? Enter the Eagle Speedster.

Based on an E-Type Jaguar, the Speedster applies modern engineering to classic Jaguar styling. This handmade masterpiece is not to be missed. Watch the clip from the BBC’s Top Gear as Jeremy Clarkson takes both the classic E-Type and the Eagle Speedster out for a spin.  We obviously love the car, but here’s what Clarkson had to say about it:

“I think this, by a long way, is the most beautiful car I have ever seen. It might actually be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

This to me is absolute perfection.

I will put my hand on my heart and say here and now I have never ever driven a car ever that I have wanted more than this one. I yearn to have it.”
